Role Description:

This is a full-time position in Springfield, MO for a Commercial Project Manager at Mouery's Flooring. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial projects, including managing schedules and negotiated accounts, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. The Commercial Project Manager will work collaboratively with the sales and installation teams and report to the Commercial Division Manager. They will also be responsible for creating estimates (including take-offs), bidding on current projects, processing change orders, attending pre-bid and progress meetings, and fielding calls from superintendents, owner representatives, and project managers. The Project Manager role will be responsible for attending Product Knowledge (PK) lunches in order to stay up to date on current trends and products. They will also provide monthly reports to the Commercial Manager.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial project management, or other related experience in the commercial flooring industry preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities to manage negotiated accounts and schedules.

  • Ability to interpret a blueprint accurately (The project manager will be required to complete blueprint training classes, so prior experience is preferred, but not necessary).

  • Strong multi-tasking skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Google Systems (Drive, Sheets, Email, etc.)

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals, including contractors, vendors, and clients.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

  • Must be detail oriented and pay attention to small details.
