Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Springfield, MO. The role of showroom consultant will be responsible for working directly with customers in our showroom. This usually requires the following responsibilities:
Learning and being familiar with all flooring products, installation practices, prices, etc.
Staying educated about new changes and developments within the flooring industry.
Setting up measurements for customers in google calendar.
Entering and maintaining customer info in our leads database.
Taking customer payments in Quickbooks, running credit cards, printing invoices, etc.
Communicating with our team about customer jobs/needs/selections
Learning our system and way of servicing our customers
Managing a lot of information and organizing it effectively within our system.
Showing customers products and completing sales transactions
WHO WOULD BE A GOOD FIT?
An organized person who can keep track of a lot of customers, jobs, numbers, & files at the same time!
A self-starter who can take control of their work-load and prioritize tasks effectively!
Someone with excellent communication skills.
Someone who enjoys working face-face with people.
Someone who is comfortable/confident helping other people pick colors/species/styles (as it pertains to flooring).
Somebody who likes to stay busy and work in a fast-paced environment
Somebody who can easily lift up heavy(er) sample boards.
Somebody who could learn their way around floor-plans, tape measures, square footage, design elements, on-trend colors, etc. NO flooring experience necessary - we actually prefer to teach this part!!!
