Runners are a great way to add a decorative flair in some areas that may otherwise be forgotten such as long hallways, in the kitchen, and in front of bathroom vanities. We recently received a HUGE shipment (over 50) of unique runners in all sizes, patterns, colors and textures and we’re so excited to show them to you.
A runner can be defined as a long narrow rug typically around 2’6” or 3’ wide and can vary in length from 4’-16’+. Placing runners around your home is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it also provides a few key benefits.
Protection.
Using an area rug can help protect your floors from excessive wear. This is especially important in high traffic hallways and right inside any door leading in from the outside (i.e. front doors, backdoors, and doors leading to the garage) where your family and guests could be tracking dirt and debris from the outdoors.
Comfort Under Foot
Cooking becomes way more enjoyable when you get to stand on top of a runner this pretty!

There is just about no better feeling than a soft, plush runner underneath your bare feet, especially in a home full of beautiful hard surface flooring. Your bathroom may be the perfect spot for your new runner. Place one in front of the sink to give yourself a soft foundation while getting ready for the day.
If you need something soft to put your feet on first thing in the morning, but don’t want to (or don’t have room to) put a large 8’x10’ rug under the bed then an runner is the perfect solution for you. Or, if you’re going to be standing at your kitchen sink or in front of your stove for a while, why not help yourself out and put throw a runner down for some extra padding.
