Whether you are a faithful follower or this is your first time, we’re glad you’re here. 2021 has been screaming by and it’s hard to believe we are already almost halfway through the year. On this week’s blog we’re reflecting on our most popular and best selling product for the first half of this year; let’s get to it!
Solid Hardwood
Madero is a Mouery’s original we had custom made. We’re so dedicated to helping our customer’s find the perfect floor if we’re not finding what we’re looking for we’ll create it! This one of a kind floor is a matte finished red oak hardwood with a beautiful medium tone stain that pairs well with a variety of finishes and decorating styles. It is complete with a matte finish and slight wire brushed texturing.
We have it available in both 3 1/4” and 4 1/4”, but the narrower 3 1/4” width has been our most popular so far this year.
Engineered Hardwood
Milano natural by far is the clear winner for our best selling engineered hardwood. This natural white oak European oak hardwood is a beast of a product. At 3/4” total thickness and a 3mm dry sawn wood veneer this product is great for matching up to ceramic tile or replacing a solid hardwood. The grain pattern and black fill marks in this floor give it character like none other.
Laminate
Fawn Chestnut is from Mohawks Revwood collection and has won over the hearts of our customers that have existing stained oak trim and cabinetry. It’s waterproof construction allows is to be installed in any area of the home including bathrooms, and don’t even get us started on the beautiful color variation and faux distressing. This truly is a floor you have to see for yourself!
Luxury Vinyl Plank
Our best selling hard surface of all of 2020 was Virtue Oak and it’s not slowed down any so far this year. Taking the cake for our best selling wood look luxury vinyl is a stunning 9” wide x 12mm thick (nearly 1/2” thick!) commercial grade beauty. It’s 100% waterproof and has an attached cork backing which allows it to act as a partially floating floor. It’s been a hit for both new construction homes and remodels alike and can be installed anywhere in the home.
Luxury Vinyl Tile
If you’re looking for a switch up from traditional (hard and cold) tile and stone this product is a must see. Libra luxury vinyl tile is a beautiful 12”x24” tile that installs in a brick pattern creating a much warmer, and more comfortable under foot bathroom, laundry room and kitchen floor. And don’t forget the painted bevel that gives it the illusion of grout without the maintenance of grout!
Wool Carpet
If you’ve followed us for long it should be no surprise to you that we love wool carpet. Vail gray is a carpet unlike any other. It’s hand made in India and has a tip sheer finish, meaning starts as an all looped construction with loops of varying heights and then is sheered down so you have a mix of loops and cut pile carpet. This unique construction allows for the seems to be hidden a little easier than other wool carpets. It’s got amazing neutral coloring making it the perfect “greige” carpet. Be sure to have it installed by one of our certified natural fiber installation crews. It will look great now and for years to come!
Nylon Carpet
Unique products is one thing that sets us as a business apart. Jazzy nylon carpet is unique to say the least. It’s easily one of the softest (if not the softest) carpets on the market and we carry it here in stock - and clearly we’re not the only ones who love it. This 13’ 2” wide machine tufted carpet is just waiting to be installed in your master bedroom, or that area of the home where everyone hangs out on the floor.
SmartStrand Carpet
Kids? Pets? Spills and accidents sound familiar? Then SmartStrand carpet is the carpet for you. Shadow Taupe has stolen the hearts of our customers with it’s random pattern and slight white fleck against the taupe carpet base. It is a stain proof carpet (seriously!) and has a combination of loops and cut pile make it a beautiful, durable, and long lasting carpet. Let your kids put it to the test!
Polyester Carpet
Gemstone Agate was our best selling polyester carpet. This 25oz brown tone carpet with flecks of lighter beiges and deeper chocolate browns. At $1.00/sf, this carpet is an amazing choice for flip homes, rental house, and anywhere else where carpet may be need to be changed out more frequently.
